Eugene was born to William “Curly” Rose and Goldie Miler Rose on July 12, 1925, at Carson Iowa. He attended school in Carson and served in the U.S. Navy from 1944 to 1946. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; He married Larene Krieger on Feb. 19, 1947. He retired from Northern Natural Gas Co. after 39 years of service. Living locations include Oakland, Iowa, Holcomb, Garden City, Lyons, and Pratt, KS.
